Verizon at 3128 Fairlane Circle, Allen Park, Michigan.

I decided to drive out of the way to visit this Verizon store to get my new phone. I've been with Verizon for about fifteen years and do most of my business online with them but enjoy working with someone when switching to a new phone. I saw all the positive reviews about Adam and decided to trek out to this location to make my switch away from an IPhone. But I got Kyle, who seemed very fresh out of high school and obviously lacked retail experience but I was hopeful that I would be treated with kindness. Instead I barely got treated like a human. Every question I had was completely shot down, my apprehension to being upsold was met with anger and even worse, disinterest. I was treated like a dunce for not wanting to spend 45 on a case (12.00 on Amazon, baybee.) I was fine with paying the price I was paying (I came in to get a new phone, I knew it wasn't cheap) but I work retail and have learned to ask questions.
Frankly, I'm embarrassed by how green this guy is. I would have spent more if I was treated with some compassion or at least, some eye contact.
